My biggest problems intersect:

  1. linear adventure with no player choice and a complete assumption of what the party will do, and
  2. the party is assumed to ally with somebody whose actions are deeply unsympathetic, if not outright evil.

There's quantum treasure, if not a quantum ogre, there's poorly-written read-aloud text, there seems to be a general lack of thought about how to make the adventure legible at the table.

A perfectly adequate third-party level 1 adventure for D&D 5th Edition. It does deserve some points for being a fairly original plotline for D&D, focused as it is on the fey. (Originally posted on Goodreads)

This is a simple, yet fun looking adventure. I am looking forward to running this game. I really like these campaigns as I am able to incorperate them into the world that I am building. I am using these amazing books so that I can work on the main story at the same time I am running a campaign.

Great low-level adventure that gives mostly wilderness encounters, but with one cavern/dungeon crawl at the end. The assault on the giant oak tree is like a low-level castle siege!

This was a great starting adventure both for my mostly-new-to-5e players, and for me as a brand new DM. Interesting use of fey creatures, and establishes a small town that works well as a base for low level characters.

Hi, I ran this adventure as a first time DM to 4 seasoned players and they all really enjoyed the adventure as did I! Good fun with a few twists and turns along the way to keep everyone on their toes. A lot of very useful information and the readable narrative really helped me a lot. I added briarwood berries as a 1d4 heal and offered up the new background to a Paladin at the end of the advenure. Am looking at running Glitterdoom for their next adventure...

Ran this with my wife who was playing several characters. Straightforward introduction to dnd for newbies and was good to use with mini's (at the dam and the shooters from tree). Might have taken more than one session had might wife not taken out a bunch of enemies (and half her party) with a fireball gone awry.

A solid level 1 adventure. Very easy to plug into almost any campaign setting, and a works as a perfect jumping off point for a group of newly banded adventurers! The ending is very sudden, but I think by the time a experience GM gets to that point they'll have flesh out some additional bits to add to it.

P.S Be aware of the giant mosquitoes!

The story is cool. What I really like a lot is the final set of combats. It's a neat fight where you climb up a tree and fight on multiple levels. It's tough to make combats dynamic at low levels but I feel like this does a good job.
