Great product as usual and I echo every sentiment above about the lack of hex maps .. though I did see a reply saying hex caves are on the way!

I for one would really like to see hex versions of most the SKG maps - could be an expensive wish however :)

The product is exactly as described. Unfortunately, without further hex sets, this lone set isn't all that useful. Please, more wilderness hex sets?

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Love the hex idea for outdoor adventures! Downloaded the PDF's and printed on full-page Avery label paper. From there I applied the printed and one-side-sticky image to 1/4" foam board and cut out (the slightly raised surface allows for easy dovetailing to Master Maze products if needed). Printed several and instant outdoor area for adventures that can be re-arranged over and over for a slightly different look to each encounter. Great idea and terrific artwork.

LIKED: Hexes!

DISLIKED: No image with any sort of road or path or water "hazard". I know there are other sets out there with those items but those are NOT hex-based.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
No doubt everyone already knows the quality of the e-Adventure artwork from the other products by SKG. However, the possiblities for arranging the tiles are multiplied when they are hexagonal-shaped rather than square tiles.

As no other hex-grid floorplans I have encountered have been designed to make full use of the hexagon's tessallating shape, I believe that Ed Bourelle has come up with a unique product.

A few more tiles with different features would have been nice in this set, as it is the only hex-tile set currently available. Substituting two of the fifteen forest tiles with a couple more "wilderness feature" tiles would have made it perfect. However, I can only trust that this means that there will be "Hex Wilderness Ruins" and "Hex Wilderness Paths" to follow!

I suppose it would unrealistic to expect there to be as many Hex tile sets as square ones (most games still use square grids, after all), but I sincerely hope that there are many more products in this line yet to come after Hex Caves is released.

LIKED: Hexagons! Hex-sided tiles are brilliant idea.

DISLIKED: It is currently the only hex-tile product available.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
Finally, hexes!! It was worth the wait as this is an extremely nice set; not sure about the tiles being on large hexes of their own, I still think that the standard rectangle or square could have worked (yes you'd lose some flexibility but not that much, and they would simply LOOK more standard) but I'm just glad to get them. Hopefully we will see many more sets with hexes on, including the old standbys like dungeons and caves. How about it Ed?

LIKED: Great to finally see hexes on a floor tile product. Graphics as usual top quality.

DISLIKED: Not convinced by the large hex tile format but I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em :)

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Terrific material from Ed B as usual. I am happy to see the hex grid come out - at last maps for my Champions/Fantasy Hero games :D

I look forward to seeing the rest of the line, I am sure it will be up to the usual SKG standard of excellence!

LIKED: Hex grid!
